SAFETY

At our practice, we value your trust and safety above everything else. In fact, we have taken a number of steps to ensure that you have the safest possible surgical experience:

  • We have the lowest radiation digital radiography cone beam currently available, minimizing any risk from radiation. For more information, please refer to our “3D Imaging” section.
  • Dr. George Hatzigiannis has been concerned about the use of narcotics by patients for a decade, far predating the scourge that opioids are having on our youth. In fact, Dr. Hatzigiannis has not given a narcotic, such as fentanyl, as part of a sedation in almost ten years!  Through a combination of non-narcotic sedatives and excellent local anesthetics, we are able to provide safe and comfortable anesthesia without the risks of opioid dependence, nausea, vomiting and constipation. 
  • Postoperatively, we are committed to keeping you comfortable with minimal narcotic use. Between minimally invasive surgical techniques that minimize swelling and discomfort, to the use of multiple types of long-acting anesthetics and non-narcotic pain medications, we do everything possible to ensure your comfort, while minimizing the use of narcotics.
  • Our training as both a dentist and physician allows us the maximum experience and knowledge to maximize your safety before, during and after surgery.
  • Your privacy is an integral part of your safety. Rest assured that all of your information is stored electronically, and all email communications are sent as HIPPA secure encrypted messages. 
  • We practice the handling of emergency scenarios with all staff on a regular basis.

We know that the cost of care can be confusing. In addition to offering a number of in-office payment options to fit your budget, we also give you up-front cost information on your treatment ahead of time. We are in network with a variety of insurance plans, and we offer various forms of dental financing with credit available in time frames that fit your needs.
